description The sup 4 He d elastic scattering at the momentum of 19.8 GeV/c is analyzed in the framework of the Glauber theory. The scattering amplitude was evaluated using different sets of values of the nucleon-nucleon amplitude parameters and the sup 4 He density function as a superposition of the Gaussian functions. It is shown that it is impossible to describe simultaneously the p sup 4 He and d sup 4 He elastic scattering cross sections using the same set of the NN-amplitude parameters. Inclusion of the twelve-quark bag admixture to the ground state of the sup 4 He nucleus in the calculations allows one to reproduce the experimental data quite well. It is shown that the admixture manifests itself in the d sup 4 He elastic scattering in the whole region of the momentum transfer. At small t the effect can be at the level of approx 10%. At large t it can be approx 30%
