description A study has been performed to see how the treatment with radiopharmaceuticals varies between various hospitals in the country. At the same time a compilation is achieved to what extent the regulations issued by the Swedish Radiation Protection Authority are followed. Information about the most common treatments was asked for: sup 1 sup 3 sup 1 I for thyrotoxicosis, sup 1 sup 3 sup 1 I for thyroid cancer, sup 3 sup 2 P for policytemi vera, sup 8 sup 9 Sr and sup 1 sup 5 sup 3 Sm for palliative treatments. There are differences between the hospitals how the treatments with radiopharmaceuticals are performed and how the activity for the therapy is determined. Mostly, the hospitals are complying with SSI's regulations. Exceptions from this concerns individual dose planning, measurement of the activity administrated for therapy and written information for the patient
