Sumario: | The standard model Higgs boson H decays into ZZ(*) with a substantial branching fraction for masses above 130 Gev/c2. When, in addition, the two Zs decay into mu+mu-, it offers a spectacular signature with four isolated muons in the final state. In this analysis the discovery potential of CMS is studied for a H mass between 115 and 500 GeV/c2 with a full simulation of the detector response. |
