Determination of the K0S decay branching ratio

Using K 0 's produced in K + p interactions at 1.4 GeV/ c in hydrogen we have measured the branching ratio ( K 0 S →π + π − ) ( K 0 S →π 0 π 0 ) . Our result 2.22 ± 0.10 is in good agreement with the average of earlier experiments.
