The Finance Committee is invited to agree to the negotiation of a blanket purchase contract with the consortium T-SYSTEMS (DE) â?" FORCE10 (US), the lowest bidder complying with the specification, for the supply of high performance ten-Gigabit Ethernet routers, the necessary training of CERN personnel and five yearsâ?? maintenance of the equipment for a total amount not exceeding 6 382 000 US dollars (7 593 671 Swiss francs) for a period of five years. The rate of exchange used is that stipulated in the tender.
