During the Discovery Monday on 6 June, visitors could play at being machine operator, twiddling the controls of a lift truck fitted with a jib to lift a dummy magnet into a wooden mock-up of a beam-line.
The Transport Service pulled out all the stops and, more specifically, its fleet of moving and lifting equipment !
