Sumario:This course is devoted to the understanding of high p/sub perpendicular to / phenomena from the quark-parton point of view. It contains a short excursion into the parton model, the most illustrative experimental facts, the apparatus of hard scattering of partons, and an explanation of most of the facts from this viewpoint. Als attempted is an explanation of those facts which seem difficult for the conventional parton model (no x/sub e/ scaling, no p/sub perpendicular to //sup -4/ scaling, Lambda 's polarization) using the modifications following from QFT consideration.
