Total and inclusive e/sup +/e/sup -/ annihilation 'understood' from a scaling model for deep inelastic electron scattering
It is shown that the seeming contradiction between deep inelastic electron scattering and e/sup +/e/sup -/ annihilation can be resolved by taking proper account of anomalous singularities in the annihilation structure functions, corresponding to resonance mediated final states. (29 refs).
