Sumario: | The relativistic quark model is applied to the transition form factor between pseudoscalar and vector mesons. A generalized vector meson dominance structure is obtained, which improves the rho /sup 0/(770) dominance result and yields the decay width Gamma ( omega to pi /sup 0 / gamma )=0.76 MeV. For the cross section sigma (e/sup +/e/sup -/ to omega pi /sup 0/), sigma approximately 17nb around Q/sup 2/=2.3 GeV /sup 2/ and an asymptotic 1/Q/sup 4/ behaviour are predicted. (19 refs). |
