Sumario: | Using extrapolated pi /sup +/ pi /sup -/ moments from amplitude analysis of the 17 GeV/c CERN-Munich experiment on pi /sup -/p to pi /sup +/=/sup -/n the authors attempt to reduce phase-shift ambiguities by imposing fixed-t and fixed-u analyticity. Their solution agrees qualitatively with semi-local duality. They also perform a phase-shift analysis by constraining the results to be compatible with the fixed-t (-u) amplitudes. A smooth phase-shift solution is obtained showing a clear rho ' signal. (20 refs). |
