description The particles psi (3105) and psi (3695) with extremely narrow widths have recently been observed. The CERN group has reported the combined inclusive spectra of electrons and positrons with large transverse momenta in the c.m. system in pp collisions together with the relative yields of charged pions. It is shown that the appropriate treatment of the scaling law allows both energy dependence and relative production roles of the psi particles to be explained. If the psi particles are produced strongly in pairs and decay electromagnetically (and weakly) to known hadrons the possible models to describe psi pair production cross section will be severely restricted.
