Rare decay modes of the K mesons and K/sub L/-K/sub S/ mass difference in an asymptotically free gauge theory

Rare decay modes of the K mesons are calculated for the Weinberg-Salam model of weak and electromagnetic interactions, assuming that the strong interactions are described by an asymptotically free gauge theory. (10 refs).
