Fried-Martin corrections for mesonic Auger transitions
Using excited circular orbits of alpha pi /sup -/e/sup -/, alpha K/sup -/e/sup -/ and alpha pe/sup -/ atoms as examples, it is shown that nuclear motion corrections of Fried and Martin (1963) to computed Auger rates can depend sensitively on the interpretation of the wave functions actually employed...
