Decay properties of the neutron-rich isotopes, /sup 11/Li and /sup 27-31/Na
After production in the CERN proton synchrotron and separation with the on-line mass spectrometer, delayed neutrons, beta spectra and beta coincident gamma spectra were measured in the decays of /sup 11/Li, /sup 27-31/Na and /sup 29,30/Mg. Half lives in the 8-1500 msec range were obtained by several...

Sumario: | After production in the CERN proton synchrotron and separation with the on-line mass spectrometer, delayed neutrons, beta spectra and beta coincident gamma spectra were measured in the decays of /sup 11/Li, /sup 27-31/Na and /sup 29,30/Mg. Half lives in the 8-1500 msec range were obtained by several counting procedures, the new isotope /sup 30 /Mg having a value 1200+or-500 msec from beta counting. A partial decay scheme from the assigned 1/sup +/ /sup 28/Na is given and the beta end-point energies obtained for the Na isotopes are compared to previous values. (25 refs). |
