The apparent discrete line structure in delayed neutron spectra, high intensity neutron branching to excited states in decay of intermediate levels in the emitter, and the peaking in the beta /sup -/-decay intensity to regions well above the neutron binding energy, indicate persistence of distinct nuclear structure effects at excitation energies of 5-7 MeV in the emitter nuclides.
