Sumario:Extensive asymmetric rotor model calculations were applied to the odd mass Tl, Au and Ir isotopes in order to test the ability of this model to account for the observed negative parity systems of levels and electromagnetic properties. The epsilon /sub 2/ quadrupole deformation of the core is derived from the potential energy curves and the gamma deformation is the only free parameter. Preliminary results including the configuration mixing between different states are also quoted for /sup 193,195/Au positive parity states.
