The structure of final states in a space-time description of quarks and extended hadrons

Sumario: | In a previous article (see ibid., vol.102, no.3, p.478 (1976)) the authors developed a space-time description of extended hadrons in terms of permanently confined triality-zero quark systems or bags. This description was found to provide a more concrete formulation of the massive quark model. In the article they examine the structure of the final states emerging from super excited qq bag systems and discuss the implications for particle production in hadron-hadron collisions. (16 refs). |
