Sumario:In a systematic search for rare hypernuclear species in nuclear emulsion exposed to a separated beam of 3.0 GeV/c K/sup -/-mesons at CERN proton synchrotron an event has been observed whose best interpretation is in terms of (/sup 6/Li/sub Lambda /)* with the decay mode (/sup 6/Li/sub Lambda /)* to p+/sup 5/He/sub Lambda / with a binding energy B/sub Lambda /=(4.17+or-0.40) MeV. A detailed analysis of the event, considering the momentum balances and possible alternative events is given. (7 refs).
