$\rho$-polarization in the reaction $\pi^{-}p \rightarrow \pi^{+} \pi^{-}n$ at 17 GeV

The data from a spark chamber experiment are analysed for dipion masses below 1 GeV in terms of the s- and p-wave density matrix.
