Two elementary methods of analysing NN to 3 pi

The two methods considered are isospin analysis and grand angular momentum analysis. The reactions studied are pp to pi /sup +/ pi /sup 0/ pi /sup -/ and pN to pi /sup +/ pi /sup -/ pi /sup -/. (7 refs).
