Factorization in a multiperipheral configuration: can one construct dual amplitudes on more general field theory vertices and propagators?

Sumario: | There is a simple connection between the zero-mode contribution in the conventional N-point dual Born term for unit intercept (Virasoro case) and the lambda phi /sup 3/ field theory. The possibility of constructing a new class of dual amplitudes based on more general field theory couplings and propagators is studied. Factorization on a multiperipheral configuration in terms of 'translational' and 'rotational' modes is studied. As a preliminary application in the context of dual models of the formalism developed the consequences of a simple factorization ansatz for the vertex into a pure 'spin' part and a harmonic-oscillator part are studied.
