Collinear algebra for the dual model

The results of Del Giudice, DiVecchia and Fubini are formulated in terms of the algebraic properties of their 'photon' transition operator A/sup i//sub n/ for the alpha /sub 0/=1 dual model. These are combined with the longitudinal (A/sub n//sup L/) and scalar ( Phi /sub n/) operators to f...

description The results of Del Giudice, DiVecchia and Fubini are formulated in terms of the algebraic properties of their 'photon' transition operator A/sup i//sub n/ for the alpha /sub 0/=1 dual model. These are combined with the longitudinal (A/sub n//sup L/) and scalar ( Phi /sub n/) operators to form a nice closed (spectrum generating) algebra (for collinear 'photons', k/sub i/=kn/sub i/) similar to the Virasoro gauge algebra for L/sub n/. The underlying algebraic structure allows us to construct more independent physical states. (6 refs).
