Study of the discrimination between light isotopes by means of an (E, Delta E) junction telescope and scintillators (in 600 MeV proton reactions)

The authors describe the 'SC33' experiment carried out at CERN for the systematic study of fragmentation of nuclei bombarded by 600 MeV protons. Results concerning the identification of high and low energy particles are examined in detail. (7 refs).
