The decay $\phi \rightarrow \eta \gamma$

In a study of the reaction pi /sup -/p to n phi at 1.8 GeV/c incident pion momentum, (27+or-6) events of the type phi to eta gamma have been observed. The branching ratio R/sub 1/= Gamma ( phi to eta gamma )/ Gamma ( phi to total) turns out to be R/sub 1/=(7.3+or-1.8)% and favours quadratic mixing i...
