Sumario:Most high energy physics experiments have the same basic pattern, but two clearly defined techniques are utilized: bell jar experiments and counter or electronic experiments. Scintillation and Cerenkov counters and spark, multi-wire proportional and drift chambers are discussed. Most experiments at CERN are carried out by workers from several countries in collaboration, one example being the A(amsterdam), C(ERN) , C(racow), M(unique), O(oxford), R(utherford laboratory) collaboration. The ACCMOR spectrometer is described, together with both exclusive and inclusive experiments carried out on it. (2 refs).
