A similar result has been obtained for inclusive processes pi /sup -/p to gamma +..., as well. Thus, in the 'central region' the structure functions are similar for pi /sup - /p and pp collisions at E/sub p/=500-1500 GeV. If the scale invariance in pp collisions takes place at E/sub p/ approximately=1000 GeV, in pi /sup -/p interactions one can observe it already at p=40 GeV/c. (7 refs).
