Phase transition in nuclear shape in the A approximately=100 region?

Two different types of experiments for the investigation of the neutron-rich Ru-isotopes are presented. A discussion of the neutron- rich isotopes of the A approximately=100 transitional region is given in the framework of the Interacting Boson Model. (60 refs).
