A new beta delayed proton emitter /sup 93m/Ru
The 10.8 s, 1/2/sup -/ isomer of /sup 93/Ru is shown to be a beta - delayed proton precursor. The absolute branching ratio for this decay mode is determined to be (2.7+or-0.5)*10/sup -4/. The measured total decay energy of /sup 93m/Ru is 7.06+or-0.20 MeV. The delayed proton spectrum has prominent pe...

Sumario: | The 10.8 s, 1/2/sup -/ isomer of /sup 93/Ru is shown to be a beta - delayed proton precursor. The absolute branching ratio for this decay mode is determined to be (2.7+or-0.5)*10/sup -4/. The measured total decay energy of /sup 93m/Ru is 7.06+or-0.20 MeV. The delayed proton spectrum has prominent peaks at 2.481, 2.534 and 2.557 MeV indicating structural effects in the beta -strength function. The level structure of /sup 93/Tc is also studied by the /sup 92/Mo(p, gamma )/sup 93/Tc resonance reaction in the proton energy range 2.00 MeV<E/sub p/<2.68 MeV. Individual resonances are well resolved with an energy resolution of 1 keV. (26 refs). |
