New isomer and low-energy intrinsic states in /sup 127/Ba

A new isomer (T/sub 1/2/=1.9+or-0.2 seconds) has been identified in /sup 127/Ba. A /sup 7///sub 2//sup -/ spin and parity assignment has been deduced. The ground state of /sup 127/Ba is established as a /sup 1///sub 2//sup +/ state. New positive parity band structures have been observed. (9 refs).
