Experience with PASCAL compilers on mini-computers
This paper relates the history of an implementation of the language PASCAL on a minicomputer. The unnecessary difficulties encountered on the way, led the authors to reflect on the distribution of 'portable' compilers in general and suggest some guidelines for the future. (4 refs).
