Lambda /sup 0/ hyperon polarisation in inclusive production by 24 GeV protons on platinum

The authors report a search for Lambda /sup 0/ polarisation in inclusive production by 24 GeV protons on platinum made on data taken at CERN. These data show Lambda /sup 0/ polarisation of the same direction and magnitude and with the same p/sub T/ dependence as found at 300 GeV at Fermilab. (6 refs...
