Individual channels to the production reactions were not separated. The experiment was modelled by means of the Monte-Carlo method using the standard routine FOWL (CERN) modernized to speed the computations. It is found that (d sigma /dt) /sub forw/ approximately A/sup 0.83/. This fact does not agree with predictions of the Glauber approach, applied to the noncoherent process. (15 refs).
