Sumario: | The described system records analog signals such as coil voltages, current, temperatures and pressure, which are of interest after a quench. It is based on a minicomputer with a multiprogramming system. The typical sampling rate is 16-channels every 10 ms. The system has been used for the testing of single superconducting coils in a magnetic mirror as well as for the testing of the complete prototype superconducting quadrupole magnet for the CERN Intersecting Storage Rings.
