Inelastic interactions of protons with emulsion nuclei at 226, 24, and 70 geV/c

Proton-nucleus interactions have been studied in nuclear emulsion exposed to the Serpukhov accelerator 70 GeV proton beam and to the CERN 24 GeV and 22.6 GeV proton beams. The average charged particle multiplicities are 5.89+or-0.01, 4.20+or-0.20, and 3.70+or-0.40, respectively. Distribution of the...
