Wire chambers and software techniques as part of the trigger
During the last few years, several experiments at CERN have attempted to include wire chamber information in their trigger. Not all of these attempts were successful. Using short case histories, it is attempted to find the reasons for the more or less satisfactory outcome. (7 refs).
