An introduction to QCD
A review is given of QCD, giving reasons why the author believes it to be the theory of hadrons. The evidence for colour is outlined, together with that for scaling, asymptotic freedom and quark confinement. Some predictions of short-range behaviour are also outlined. (0 refs).
