Sumario: | Refers to high energy hadronic interactions with weak transverse p/sub perpendicular to / emission. Quark diffusion is analysed for various energy ranges, effective hadronic cross-sections are calculated and it is suggested that there are three components of 'jet action', comprising beam and target jets, trigger jets and 'away' jets, where a jet is defined as a group of particles travelling in the same direction. Experimental data from CERN and Karlsruhe is presented. Suggestions are made on the evolution of jets, gluons and quarks; gluon radiation is allowed for and suggestions are made for future work.
