Total cross-sections and related phenomena at ISR energies
Recent experiments at the CERN Intersecting Storage Rings showing a rise in the proton-proton total cross-section with energy are discussed. An extrapolation of other hadron-proton cross-sections to higher energy is discussed. It appears plausible that they may rise as well. (4 refs).
