Experimental results on deep inelastic leptoproduction

Deep inelastic electron scattering results are consistent with scattering off point-like constituents. There is some evidence that these partons have spin /sup 1///sub 2/. Neutrino experiments can be expected to probe the same physics and this is borne out by preliminary results from NAL and CERN. Point-like scaling behaviour is emerging, and structure functions behave in a qualitatively similar way to those in electron scattering. (11 refs).
