Review of K/sup 0/ decays

Separate experiments by a CERN-Heidelberg group, and a SLAC-Santa Cruz group give improved information on form factors in the decay K/sub L //sup o/ to pi l nu . description Separate experiments by a CERN-Heidelberg group, and a SLAC-Santa Cruz group give improved information on form factors in the decay K/sub L //sup o/ to pi l nu . The t-dependence of these form factors expressed by the parameter lambda /sub +/ and lambda /sub o/ give consistent results. Parameters in CP violation and K/sub s, L/ degrees decays are presented from recent results and show a value of mod eta +- mod = (2.29+or-0.026)10/sup -3/, an increase of 36% (and 11 standard deviations) from the previously accepted value. Two recent experiments at Brookhaven show an average branching ratio of 12/sub -4//sup +8/*10 /sup -9/ for the decay K/sub L/ degrees to mu /sup +/ mu /sup -/ in disagreement with the previous Berkeley measurement of a 1.8*10/sup -9 / upper limit.
