Lorentz contraction and diffractive excitation
The formalism of light-plane wave functions is applied to the problem of diffractive excitation. Suggestions in the literature, for removing an experimentally embarrassing forward zero in the single scattering approximation to Glauber theory, are not borne out. (8 refs).
