Sumario: | A method for the recognition of curved tracks and its implementation in digital hardware is presented. Similar hardware processors can be used for point-finding in multi-plane multi-wire chambers. A comparison is made of the execution speed of special purpose hardware processors and Fortran routines running on large scale general purpose computers.
