description This is a report of the preliminary results of an exploratory experiment at the CERN ISR on the search for multigamma events in proton-proton collisions. In this experiment an overwhelmingly large number of multigamma events have been observed especially at high multiplicities. The preliminary results also show a prominent peak in the energy distribution of the individual gamma rays as measured by the 3-radiation lengths thick lead glass Cerenkov counters under the present triggering conditions.
