$\pi^{-}$p $\rightarrow\pi^{-}\pi^{+}$n amplitude analysis and extrapolation to the $\pi$ exchange pole

The authors solve analytically for the pi /sup -/p to pi /sup -/ pi /sup +/n amplitudes in the rho region at 17.2 GeV/c and find two acceptable solutions.
