Extrapolation technique used by the SLAC group in their measurement of the $\pi^{+}\pi^{-}$ cross section
The extrapolation technique used by the S.L.A.C. Boson spectrometer group to measure the pi /sup +/ pi /sup -/ cross section and phase shift is described. The errors introduced by a limited polynomial expansion of the extrapolated curve are discussed. (4 refs).
