Comments on the systematics of multiplicity distributions

Sumario: | The author combines the original arguments of Koba, Nielsen and Olesen (see abstr. A55830 of 1972) with an assumption about isosinglet exchange dominance of the N to N forward scattering amplitude. Implications for the systematics of multiplicity distributions and correlations between the number of charged and neutral secondaries are pointed out and compared with available data. Further experiments are suggested. (19 refs). |
