| Sumario: | Experimental work relating to the verification of Maxwell's theory: nonlinear effects, the photon rest-mass and magnetic monopoles, is reviewed. Measurements of the Lamb-shift for positronium muonium, the anomalous magnetic moment of leptons, high energy experiments and 2- photon exchange are discussed in connection with the verification of quantum electrodynamics. A validity range of 10/sup -15/ and 10/sup 10 / cm is found. (28 refs). |
