Sumario:A proposed new method of calculating the Member States' contributions as from 2006 was presented to the Finance Committee in June 2005 for recommendation to the Council. At that meeting, the Finance Committee: "took note of the information set out in document CERN/FC/4934-CERN/2616 and decided , by sixteen votes in favour, two against (Finland and Portugal) with one abstention (Greece), to recommend the Council to approve the new method of calculating the contributions set out in paragraph 3.3 of the document" . The Council is now invited to approve the new method of calculating the contributions as from 2006 set out in Paragraph 2 of this document.
