Proposal for the award of a contract for cleaning on the French part of the CERN site

This document concerns the award of a contract for cleaning on the French part of the CERN site. The Finance Committee is invited to agree to the negotiation of a contract with ALPES SAVOIE NETTOYAGE (FR), the lowest bidder, for the provision of cleaning on the French part of the CERN site for three years for a total amount of 3 482 650 euros (5 450 000 Swiss francs), not subject to revision until 1 October 2008, with options for additional services for an additional amount of 350 000 euros (547 750 Swiss francs), not subject to revision until 1 October 2008, bringing the total amount to 3 832 650 euros (5 998 750 Swiss francs), not subject to revision until 1 October 2008. The contract will include options for two one-year extensions beyond the initial three-year period. The rate of exchange used was the one on the closing date of the tender.
