Calculations have also been made of the /sup 11/C activity in plastic scintillator disks placed at various depths in a water phantom irradiated with a beam of neutrons having an energy spectrum (maximum energy 400 MeV) similar to that used in an experiment at CERN. The results of the calculations have been found to be in good agreement with those of the experiment. |
